Above, the most recent Gellar magazine cover (SELF - December 2011) and the first Gellar magazine cover, (Parents Magazine, December 1982).
Gellar appeared on LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON on 12 September. Video on YouTube.
CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS is now available for PS3 and Windows PC. Cast includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo. Specifically, Gellar is in The Call of the Dead zombie level which, with four all new multiplayer maps make up the second content pack, Escalation. It is also on Xbox LIVE. The Call of the Dead storyline is inspired by horror writer and director George A. Romero, who also stars as himself. Gellar has never before been involved directly in a video game, although games have been made of a few of her films and several games have sprung from Buffy. At one point she owned the film rights to American McGee's Alice, but apparently is no longer involved with that project.
While Bridget Kelly was stripping in Bodaway Macawi's club in Rock Springs, Wyoming, she saw him murder someone. Rather than risking her life by testifying against Macawi, Bridget fled to New York and sought help from her estranged twin sister Siobhan.
The trouble between the sisters stems from an event that occured when they lived in Nevada. It somehow involves Sean, possibly a child of Siobhan.
Siobhan faked her own death, shortly after Bridget's arrival in New York. Believing Siobhan drowned, Bridget assumed her sister's identity to throw the FBI and Macawi off her trail.
Siobhan was having an affair with her best friend Gemma's husband Henry for about a year. She is pregnant with his child. She and her husband Andrew Martin became lovers while he was still married to his first wife. Andrew has a seventeen year old daughter Juliet who has, up until episode 5, hated Siobhan for that reason.
Bridget is a recovering addict, and regularly attends Narcotics Anonymous meetings. Her sponsor was Malcolm Howard in Wyoming, but Macawi tortured him to find out Bridget's whereabouts. Unable to reach Malcolm, Bridget found a new sponsor in New York named Charlie. Charlie turned out to be working for Siobhan, although Bridget does not know this. Malcolm escaped from Macawi's men and is now in New York City.
Siobhan found out she is pregnant while in Paris, and is involved in something dangerous. Someone has tried to kill Bridget thinking she is Siobhan. When Bridget shot and killed that someone, another unknown person disposed of the body for her. Siobhan is sleeping with someone who is employed by her husband's company either directly or indirectly. This seems to have been intentional.
Andrew Martin runs a hedge fund.
Siobhan had something to do with Gemma Butler's disappearance.
Bridget's new sponsor at NA, Charlie, is the guy who abducted Gemma. He has been in contact with Siobhan.
Gemma is dead. Charlie is dead. Amber Benson's character Mary Curtis is dead.
Siobhan is in New York City, probably temporarily.
Juliet is spreading a rumour that Mr. Carpenter raped her. This may or may not be true.
Sarah Michelle Gellar made her second ever appearance at Comic-Con 2011 to unveil RINGER. At the session with Gellar were Nestor Carbonell, Ioan Gruffudd, Kristoffer Polaha, Executive Producer Pam Veasey, and Co-Executive Producers Nicole Snyder and Eric Charmelo. Gellar told the Hollywood Reporter that:
"I always say to actresses, if you haven't been - this is going to sound really funny - but get a mask and take a look around. I'm serious. You get rushed into your panel and you come out of the backside, and you never actually see the main hall. It's pretty amazing."
And about weaponry:
"I got a gun (in the Ringer pilot) and Buffy never got to shoot a gun. But yesterday I had a skillsaw and that thing I did not like. I never want to use that thing again. Ever."
"I'm Sarah Gellar and I'm 5'3" but working on more height. I was born on April 14, 1977 and I've lived in Manhattan all my life. . .well I lived in L.A. for about a year and I loved it! I was a figure skater and I took competitive Tae Kwon Do. I was two belts away from my black belt, and I came in fourth place in a competition. But what I really wanted to do was acting and that took up too much of my time. . .so I gave up the other stuff."
"(Horror) is a genre where women really get great opportunities, and where also some of our most famous women seem to keep flocking to. The obvious is Naomi Watts in The Ring. But then you think about Halle Berry; after she won the Oscar, she made Gothika. Or Charlize Theron; her first choice after she won the Oscar was Aeon Flux. Or Gwyneth Paltrow's biggest success lately has been Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Why is that? That's because that's where women really get to flourish. I don't know why that is, I don't know why women superhero movies don't seem to do as well as women thrillers. Comedies just make more money when it's Adam Sandler than if it's a female. It's just the way the moviemaking business seems to go. But I don't know why."
"I have good friends, gay couples, who've been together for 18 years. It drives me crazy that in the eyes of the law, their love isn't acknowledged when I have girlfriends who have married four times by the age of 25."
A couple of years ago, Entertainment Weekly asked Sarah Michelle Gellar to name ten classic male TV characters she wished she could play. This is her list:
Gellar rides an Electra Townie 3 bike, pink with Hello Kitty tires. The bike offers a low center of gravity for full leg extension, which increases comfort and pedaling torque. Also this means the rider's feet are able to rest flat on the ground. The platform pedals make it theoretically possible to ride in heels, and it has a full-length chainguard to keep dirt and oil off the rider's legs.
According to VANISHINGTATTOO.COM, Gellar's tattoos consist of the following: She has a scripted Chinese tattoo with blossoms on her ankle which is a Chinese symbol for integrity. On her left hip are images of the Celtic alphabet. On her ankle she has a heart pierced with a dagger. On her back she has 2 dragonflies.
Botiques.com now has a Sarah Michelle Gellar Botique, from which one can purchase the sort of things Gellar might wear. Her style is described as "casual chic, boho".

Gellar originally was the voice of Rayna in this JPL/NASA educational science fiction adventure film,
but in 2008 the script
was rewritten to include discoveries made by the Cassini Huygens mission to Saturn, and
Gellar was too busy to voice her character. She was replaced by Amanda Peet and the character
renamed Ranger. The film was released 13 January 2010 with the new title: QUANTUM QUEST: A
CASSINI SPACE ODYSSEY.
Sarah Michelle Gellar's first car, a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron cconvertible, is being
sold on Craig's List
by someone in Monsey, NY for $2995.

As an adult, Gellar has been in 15 films that have actually played in US Theaters. (Suburban Girl and Possessed went directly to video, and Veronika Decides to Die has not been released in the US as of yet.) The gross box office total for these 15 films is: $756,351,536. An average of $50,423,435. For purposes of comparison, Reese Witherspoon in her 21 films has averaged $38,432,677, and Jessica Alba in her 13 films has averaged $49,103,883.

My character is really nosy and very much in your face, one of those me, me, me types who talks a mile a minute. She runs into Siobhan, who is really Bridget, and has no idea why Siobhan doesn't recognize her. They have this very fun encounter in an elevator. Then my character sees "Siobhan" going into a meeting with a divorce attorney and can't wait to tell her husband.

Tationna Bosier was a stripper in the original pilot but did not appear until episode 5 in Malcolm Howard's drug fantasy, and also appeared in Episode 6. Bosier is a dancer, model, and sometime actor. She was in a short film I AM JULIA, which was shown at the Big Apple Film Festival last 5 November, and deals with bullying in the New York City school system.

Jay Faerber (Dynamo 5) is one of Ringer's staff writers. Faeber also wrote CONNOR:SPOTLIGHT, a comic book based on ANGEL, starring the son of Angel and Darla. Faerber described the RINGER writers room this way to T.J.Deitsh of Spinoff Online:
"Our writers room has white boards on three of its four walls. Two walls continue a kind of chart that tracks what happens to each character in each episode. As the season has progressed, of course, those boards got more and more crammed with information. The other wall is where we break a new episode, hammering out beats for each storyline and then finally blending all the beats together into a cohesive episode."
The costume designer for Ringer is Michael Clancy, who also designed the costumes for the film MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING.
